Do Pad ka Mattar ka Paratha


Paratha’s are welcome for breakfast,for us sometimes for lunch too……mattar ka paratha is a total hit with my hubby.Winters is the ideal time  as u get real fresh peas but these come out real good with the frozen ones too…just need to overboil them.U can serve these with a bowl of curd or some pickle,but we relish the taste without any accompaniment.

Dough
1cup …………wheat flour
1tsp………….. oil
Salt to taste
Combine all ingredients and knead a smooth dough.

Stuffing
3cups ………..green peas
1 ……………..onion finely chopped
2 ……………..green chillies finely chopped                        
Coriander leaves
Salt to taste
Aamchur pwd to taste

Boil the peas with salt till soft,mash them lightly.
Add rest of the ingredients and mix well.
Roll out two small rotis,smearing them with some ghee.
Put the stuffing in the centre sprinkle some dry flour .
Cover with other roti.seal the edges lightly.
Roll out again( v lightly).
Roast on a hot gridle on both sides,using ghee or oil till crisp.

variation to this paratha.....
can mix tofu /paneer /boiled potatoes. /or for that matter u can even bind the dough with mashed mattar.
