Since the last few days I have been posting sandwiches or rolls..well how about carrying a delicious choclate cake for the picnic? This is a cake which gets ready in just flat 15 minutes.Really!This recipe has been shared by my daughter who had been telling me to try this lovely cake since a long time….somehow baking in a microwave was not my idea,so kept postponig it.This time she insisted and trust me I was so happy with the result I called her up…. rightaway…and showed her the cake on the web camera!!..her smile said it all .J
And now the recipe…..
11/2cups........ maida
½ cup.............. cocoa pwd
11/2 cups ........sugar
1tsp.................. baking pwd
½ tsp................ baking soda
½ tsp................ salt
4tsp.................. flax seed pwd mixed with 1cup water
¼ cup............... milk
½ cup............... oil
2tsp.................. vanilla essence
Sieve all the dry ingredients.
Mix all the wet ingredients.
Mix wet and dry ingredients.
Pour in a greased microwave safe dish.
Microwave for 8 minutes.
This is a very simple basic choclate cake with a mild nutty flavor due to flax seeds and children would love it,to make a complete dessert serve it with icecream...just get a block from the icecream wallas who are at all picnic spots!
