Fruit Smoothie


BM # 8   Day 3
This is an auspicious month,where lot of people are fasting.One gets to see so much ‘’fasting food” ,that you sure need a break.Fruits?...monotonus...how about a smoothie which will keep you full for a few hours,no cooking and delicious!!I have choosen a fruit smoothie which is filling and satisfying to the taste buds,can be served any time ...breakfast?..a nice big glass..n no guilt ....or serve it to the kids when they come back from school.....or let them do the blending and pouring,they will enjoy it.The lovely fruit Peach which is flavorful and has a subtle aroma is blended with orange juice,even if it is not well blended no issues ..you will still love it.

What you need.....

For the bottom layer....
2.big....................peach / mango
1/4 cup ...............orange juice/sweet time
1tsp..................... honey
few drops lemon juice

For the top layer....
1.............................banana
8-10...................... strawberries/plums(deskin them before blending)
1tsp....................... honey 
few drops lemon juice
Blend the bottom layer ingredients and pour in a glass.Blend the top layer ingredients and gently pour on top of the previous layer.
I prefer to chill my fruits before making any smoothie,but you could use ice too while blending the fruits.Unfortunately I had very few strawberries,hence the color is pale.You could use different fruit combinations.
