Falafel Wrap

BM # 52  Week 1  Day 2

Making a falafel wrap sound laborious but it is all about assembling . I find making these simple and easy on weekends. Most of the dips and sauces are either stocked in frig or easily available in the market. I have used the  Moong daal batter for the falafel bullets and made this wrap on a normal chapati. My staff boy makes the chapatis but if lazy to make the chapatis too,  get some ready kulchas or tortillas and assemble the falafel on it. Let me tell you the way I have assembled. This is my Day 2 post for Weekend Dinners.

Chapatis
Salad with cabbage , onion, peppers
Falafel bullets

Falafel Bullets
1 cup green moong daal, soak for 1 hr and grind to a coarse paste.
2 tbsp mint and coriander leaves, finely chopped
1/2 tsp garlic, chopped
1/2 tsp ground cumin seed
Zaatar and Sumac powder, to taste
Salt to taste
Mix all ingredients and deep fry making small balls.
Fry to a nice golden.

Assembling the wrap
Place a roti.
Apply a generous layer of hummus.
Spread the dips and place the bullets and salad in the center.
Drizzle spring onion sauce.
Wrap it up and enjoy.
